OMG

There are no words to describe the chaos I’ve unleashed on myself in the decision to change my gaming identity from gmeraine to KalamityRaine. There’s so many links that will have to be changed and some identies / sites are just in limbo. The graphics are another bunch of work I’ll have to tackle. Likely it’ll mean a hold on the livestream or just using the outdated stuff for now. Ugh! I just wanted to give you the heads up while these changes happen.

Humbled

So excited to have gotten an invite from Humble on my gmeraine gaming account to be a partner. If you didn’t know Humble is that Humble Bundle bunch of games or books or whatevers that the funds go to help charities. You get to pay what you want and even choose how you want your money divided. It’s such an amazing thing and I’m blown away to be a part of it.

So, if you use my partner link, I will receive, at no cost to you or the charities, a small monetary compensation. They’ve got so many different options that there’s bound to be something in your interests and price range, which is totally amazing! So I’ve opened one for Raine of Iris (my hub) and seperate specific ones focused on gaming for gmeraine and spooky things for parapopulous.

My reasoning was each is slightly different and I know some people just don’t want to shop in certain places, so with this I’ve given you a little choice. I hope you’ll check them out.

Look forward to an update blog / vlog here and on the rainecaster YouTube soon. I know it’s been a wait but there’s still so freaking much going on and I’m working on it, I promise.

Of Course

So as I’m sitting here in chaos, the thought occurs to me that I should reopen the etsy and zibbet shops. Seems the postal negotiations are quiet and things seem to be calm, I’m feeling foolish I haven’t reopened them earlier. Glad I didn’t!   

What a way to end the past months of chaos that has been my summer. I’ve got stuff in transit, that I ordered because stuff has been quiet and most has come in but it’s 2 that I’m waiting for that are going slower than molasses uphill in January that are of course not here yet. I specifically put my shops on hiatus to keep this from happening to you and I’m glad I did. I should mention that this does not affect or include either of my redbubble shops, those are open and unaffected. 

In other news, I’m sure you’ve noticed a lack of posting and updates. And if you follow me as gmeraine on YouTube you know there’s been no updates to the archive there in a week. And I you follow me as Parapopulous it’s been forever since I posted. I’m sorry for all the chaos! It’s been really rough for me personally since the start of June and it’s starting to show. I’m doing my best to keep streams going and things as normal as possible but it’s hard. I’m stressed and being pulled in so many directions and working on coming up with a schedule that can keep it all functioning. I know I’ve said it too many times but I promise things will get back to where they should be. 

On that note I’ve gotta dash and go take care of some stuff for my parents but I’ll chatter with you again soon.

Big News

So I was asked to join a team by Good4Gaming and participate in Extra Life this year with my  gmeraine Twitch channel. I said yes and would really like your help in fundraising for this amazing cause. Toodles Tuesday

Hiya all! 

Some changes to discuss this go round. As you’ve likely noticed, my gaming is beginning revamp and the cause is a necessary one, I’ve changed all my gaming media to gmeraine. I love being the klutzy gamer but it’s so many names for one endeavour. I remain FireflyRaine on XBL but all social media is now gmeraine. I’m writing this on mobile but as soon as I get in front of my laptop, I’ll continue updating links including the ones here on site. Until then just look for gmeraine on Twitch, YouTube, Hitbox, Steam, Facebook, Google+, Twitter & Instagram. Sorry for any confusion. I’m making the graphics and swapping up the links my priority for the week. 
In other news, I missed last weeks Parapopulous blog and yesterday’s podcast. I’m sorry and will get this weeks blog up on Thursday to catch us back up. I did say I would do one a week if I got crunched and boy did I. And then created more work too LOL! 

It’s a short update but I have to squeeze in some yardwork before more interwebs work so I’d better get my bunions moving!

Happy almost Friday

Another long week and another week of being slightly behind but LOL what else is new.

So been busy streaming on Twitch  6 nights on gmeraine and 1 on GreatGeekwads. Of course there’s extra streams here and there and then there’s the scheduling and archiving to YouTube that take up extra time but it’s amazing to be able to hang out with my rainestorm. Looking forward to CoD this weekend since its been a while. 

Loving the IRL & behind the scenes channel, though I’m not sure what to do with it sometimes. I think it’s a nice peek behind the scenes and a glimpse into the person behind the shops, streams, podcast and blogs. Count on it being random because it’s just how I am. I hate that I can’t name it because of he changes to YouTube but, we’ll get to their count and be able to do it soon.

Parapopulous has been busy and there’ll be a new blog post tomorrow. I’m liking the more personal post and though I always planned to do that its nice to have my sea legs. I’m not sure what way I’m going to go with the next post so be sure to follow by RSS feed, on WordPress or through bloglovin’. And of course the podcast is available with direct download or iTunes subscription.

The shops are in limbo. I mean they’re up (except Magpie Muddles) but they need some love and updates. And I will be changing my deviantart to RaineofIris at some point. I have soooooo many ideas to get to you and I promise I will sooner rather than later.

Another day…

Another change. Another challenge.

So welcome y’all. I’ve decided to not further RainebowsEnd. It’s something that I think will happen eventually but I think I rushed into it and with the potential challenges on the way, I’m better off letting go of it. That being said, I did take on a YouNow for a different way to be able to interact with y’all. Yes it’s called rainecaster but its about all of my projects and everyday life. I did start a Twitter for it so people who just want to know me there can but it’s also a good thing so the notices when I go live have a place to go. I’m also going to be working on the shops this coming week. I’ve go no idea honestly where it’ll go but I want to tidy and attend to a few things.

So I’m sure you noticed the potential challenges I mentioned. I want to let those of you know who aren’t following me on Snapchat (loreleybee) or know my family, what’s going on so you can understand any delays or changes that might be happening. I do promise to keep these to a minimum but, I can’t predict right now. We found out this week that my dad has cancer again. It’s esophageal cancer this time and we won’t know until mid week how bad it is. I’m of course going to have to shift some energy and focus to that. I’ll take any good energies you want to send but I don’t want you to worry. It’s not something I wanted to share but because it will likely have some impact on my work, I felt I owed it to you.

In the meantime, Hedgey has lent me his Xbox 360 so I can throwback again. It’s great fun and my lens isn’t reading disks poperly or at all any more so I’m thrilled to have this option until I can fix mine. I’m quite delighted with the donation of funds so I could get and share Black Ops 3 with you guys too! I’m tardy to the party on it but that’s how I first got into the series so I feel good with it. I haven’t touched story yet, which is unusual for me, but I do promise to share it with you when I do. And speaking of excited…the beginnings of the DLC for Fallout 4 were announced!!! (No, I still haven’t finished the main story once LOL). If you all are curious I livestream 6 nights a week usually on Twitch and archive with other exclusives & sometime livestream to YouTube. Lurkers and chatters are equally welcome, I just ask you follow / subscribe so I know you’re liking the stream.

I haven’t forgotten about Parapopulous I promise. I’m just sorting and planning. I’ll get a new schedule up and running and of course keep you in the loop on everything here or on the Facebooks or Twitters. Right now, I have to run and start prepping for dinner tonight. Aaaaaahhhhh

So, I come barreling in today with so much exciting news! Though I missed my deadline for a potential spot at a very exclusive juried show, I’m found such a surprise in my inbox yesterday.  

 
I’m very unexpectedly being featured in a spotlight over on handmadefuzzy tomorrow! How exciting, such an amazing surprise! Do check it out on Friday January 29th 2016 after 6am E over on handmadefuzzy. 

I’m also excited to be back livestreaming on Twitch after the test run of livestreaming on YouTube. I loved YouTube’s  streaming set (up I’ll always be archiving to them and I’ve started adding exclusive bite sized clips as well) but I missed the perks of Moobot and TwitchAlerts. It’s been great fun getting back into the routine and I’m extatic to say currently I’m at 45 followers on Twitch and 20 subscribers on YouTube and all with no big partner or promoter, just me hopping on and doing my thing. I love it and I’m always so happy to know you like it too! 

I know things haven’t been up to speed or outputting exactly the way I want and there’s still tweaks to make, but I promise you it’s getting there and I’m grateful for your support as I do. I’m also thankful of this little community from all my projects, thank you for being wonderful amazing RaineStorms!
